How it works

From one STL to a complete mold system.

Mothermold analyzes your model, recommends safe alignment-lug placement, and builds fitted parts entirely in your browser.

1

Add your model

Drop in an STL. Mothermold repairs the mesh, measures it, and scans the bottom footprint for a safe lug pattern.

2

Adjust and generate

Preview wall thickness and alignment lugs, then generate the fitted geometry locally with WebAssembly.

3

Inspect and print

Explore the actual output, download every STL, inspect it in your slicer, and dry-fit before pouring silicone.

The assembly

Each part has one clear job.

A hollow vessel gets five printable parts. A solid model skips the displacement core automatically.

Model + alignment lugsThe source model stays centered and locks into the lid.
Two jacket halvesContain the silicone, then separate sideways after curing.
LidLocates the model with matching sockets and countersunk fasteners.
Displacement coreFills unused vessel space so the mold requires less silicone.
